Relaxing by the lake

"Don't swim in circle too much. You might get dizzy...or get me dizzy." I joked.

I smiled and laughed. "But it's fun."

"Well, as long as you are having fun then that's all that matters." I smile at her.

"So are you two going out? Or are you just close friends?"

"Just friends." I said hiding the tiny bit of sadness.

"Hey Jazz, are you okay?"

"Huh, yeah." I said then dunked under the water.

I scratched my head. "Why do I get the feeling she's not all right?"

"Do you want me to ask her? I'm sure she'll tell me if she doesn't want to tell you."

"Why can't she tell me?"

"Maybe it's a girl thing."

I started floating and let all my wanderings just go to my head.

"Hey Jasmine come here for a sec."

I swam over and got out of the water. "Yeah?"

"I can't help but notice that you seem a little sad. What's wrong?"

"Nothings wrong." I said to her.

"Are you sure? I'm here if you ever want to talk, ok."

I nodded my head with a smile. "Yup, nothing wrong. Just thinking about some stuff." I said to her. I dried my clothes off and my hair and sat down. I was a bit cold now.

"I bet you're cold now." I said as I got out of the lake. I grabbed by jacket that I had laid down earlier and gave it to Jasmine. "Here you go. I don't want you to get sick."

I took the jacket. "Thanks." I said to him smiling. I put it on and tried to get warmer.

"So I take it that going for a swim was a spur of the moment thing since you two still have all your clothes on."

I laughed. "Yeah, pretty much."

"And it was fun. We should do that more often."

I nodded my head and snuggled closer into the jackets warmth.

"Are you getting warmed up?"
