Trying to think

I walked into an empty classroom hoping that Rayvn could help me figure out a way so me and Rae could go to the dance together. I paced around the room trying to think but I was comming up blank.

Ravyn knocked lightly on the door, then walked in, "Hey Harry, you wanted to see me?"

"Hello Rayvn. I was hoping you could help me with something. I can't think of anything." I told her. "I want to go to the dance with Rae but we kinda can't unless we want everyone to know and I don't want her hurt or her getting used."

Ravyn smiled, "We can ask Professor Dumbledore to make it a masked ball."

"That might work, but what if people recognize us? I don't want anything to happen to her."

"I don't think they will, not with a mask."

"Thanks Rayvn. Your a big help. Also, would you be able to talk Blaise out of keeping such a hawk eye on Rae? We haven't been able to talk because of it."

Ray smiled, "I can do my best."

"Thanks Rayvn, your a life saver. I've been trying to think of something for awhile, I just couldn't think of anything." I said giving her a smile.

"Well, I kind of wanted to do the whole mascaraed thing so it works for both of us," she laughed,

"That's good. Rayvn, did you know that Rae's parents want her branded soon?"

Ray rubbed her arm, "That's not good..." she said slowly

"I know, I don't know what to do. I want the order to protect her, maybe someone could take her in if her parents disowned her. Hannah probably would do it. Do you think it a good idea though?"

"If she doesn't want the mark then I do." she said still rubbing her arm

"Is your arm okay?" I asked her looking at her arm.

"I uh....I um...Yeah it's fine!" Ravyn said putting her hands to her side.

"Are you sure Ray?" Harry asked not believing her.

"No....it just hurts." she said rubbing it again.

"What's wrong with it?" he asked her. "Do you need Madame Pomfrey?"

"No...she can't help, I'm sorry, don't worry about me!" She smiled.

Harry thought for a moment then realized something. "You have the mark, don't you?"

Ravyn's smile faded, "what makes you think that?" she said slowly

"One, your rubbing right where it would be. And two it's on the same arm that the marks are. It's just a guess, but I'm probably right. Aren't I?"

Ravyn looked down, "Yeah." she muttered

"Are you loyal to him? Or where you forced?" Harry asked her.
