Yet another slow night.

"Can't I just come here to get away from the school? That place gets so boring."

Ravyn looked at Kendrix and smiled. "What can I get you?" She asked sarcastically

I look at Ravyn. "Can I trust you not to poison it?"

"Well if you can't then get out of my bar."

I look at Ravyn and mouth, 'Poison it.' I was kidding of course, but that thought has crossed my mind a few times.

Ravyn smiled, "Now what do you want?"

"Fine, then give me a butterbeer."

"fine!"" Ravyn opened a butterbeer and handed it to her sister.

I took it and took a drink of it. Then I looked at Eris. "Oh by the way. Your mother way your mother wanted me to give this letter to you."

I grab the letter from Kendrix. "And why would my mom be sending you a letter for me?"

Remus made his way back up to the bar, watching the two women. He sat himself down and finally spoke up ".. would I be able to have a Red Current Rum Ravyn? and are you doing anything for Christmas dinner this year?"

"I'll probably be spending it at Hogwarts," she poured him the dink and then handed it to him. "What about you?"

I shrug. "Maybe she thinks you aren't getting her letters and wanted to make sure you got it this time."

"Hey wait!" Ravyn looked at Kendrix, "How do you know her mom?"

"Well I was hoping I might be able to have something here. but I take it the tavern is close over Christmas.. I think I might be having it alone at my cottage." he said with a weak sigh before taking the glass of rum and downing it.

"No we're not closed, one of the bartenders will be here and I will eventually"

I look at Ravyn. "Her mom and aunt Narcissa are close friends. They come over once in awhile."

Well, that was some what true. I had been getting her letters, but I haven't been reading them since I had read that one letter from her. With Kendrix here I knew I had to read it or else she would tattle that I didn't. I opened the letter and scanned what it said. My eyes widened at what I had read. After I was done I tore up the letter out of anger.

Ravyn didn't say anything, she was getting mad. She didn't under stand how she knew things about them and she didn't, maybe it was her dads fault.

I smirked at Eris' reaction. "Good news?" I said sarcastically.

I glared at Kendrix. "Shut up." I grabbed my book and stormed out of the bar.

"Well, someone has a temper." I took another drink of my butterbeer.

"Why are you so mean?" She asked Kendrix.

"Why are you so annoying? It's just our nature."

Ravyn shook her head. She walked into the office and then walked back out, she had a box in her hand. "I thought I would wait until Christmas to give you this, but I think you need it now." She handed Kendrix the box. "I found it in a bunch of stuff I have at home. growing up I didn't know who the other baby was but then it hit me," She had given Kendrix a picture of two babies. She then walked into the office and sat at her desk.
