A job to do

Edie set her books on the grassy ground next to her. Running a hand through her hair, she watched the water dance along the shore. She pursed her lips and thought back to when she was an actual student at Hogwarts. It felt stressful and ridiculous everyday she spent in the pathetic school with the same pathetic headmaster. Edie's jaw clenched in frustration; she had a job to do and wasn't going to stop at any rate.

Kyla walked down to the black lake. She didn't want to be around many people ever since her brother Cedric died. It been hard for her to face the challenge and she will soon must decide what side she should be on. Dumbledore side or Voldemort Side? She had no clue to choose which side. She had learn to read minds ever since the gift was given to her for good.

Edie whipped her head around when she heard the sound of footsteps. She forced a small smile when her eyes fell on a girl. "I suppose you are here for the view, yes?"

"What else could I be here for? It just for the view." Kyla said as she only give a small smile.

Having a difficult time restraining her frustration combined with her short temper, Edie felt a strong urge to burn her body to a crisp. The Dark Lord, who embraced her sociopathic desires, trained her to not hold back her temper. But the time called for restraint; the main objective was not too far from her. "What year are you in?" she said through clenched teeth.

"I am in 5th year" Kyla answered.

Edie nodded. "That was a good year. That is if you don't mind the O.W.L.S," she said, smirking.

"Of course I don't mind O.W.L.S." Kyla said.

Edie ran a hand through her hair. "Of course," she repeated with slight annoyance. "What do you think of Dumbledore? Do you think of him as a good headmaster?" she inquired.

"I normally think nothing of Dumbledore." Kyla said.

Edie nodded in content. "How interesting. Does that have anything to do with your dead brother?" she said, suppressing a smile.

"Sometimes it does but mostly it does not have anything to do with Cedric..." Kyla said.

"Do you miss Cedric?" she asked curiously. "You must have felt a strong hatred towards the Dark Lord after you heard he killed your brother."

"I don't have any strong feelings toward the Dark Lord." Kyla said, "I do not always miss Cedric."

Edie knew the last statement was false but she let it go. "What do you plan to do next? With the Dark Lord, I mean."

"I have nothing in mind." Kyla answered.

I walked down to the lake and saw Kyla with someone in Ravenclaw. "Hello Kyla...and person I don't know."

Edie raised an eyebrow. "It's Edie, Edie Sedgwick. A pleasure to meet you, I'm sure," she said, nodding courteously. "I don't believe your name though."

"Athena Green. What house are you in? I don't believe i've seen you before." I said looking at her. From how she acted with formality she probably hated muggle borns like Rae's family.

Edie eyed the girl carefully. "That's because you haven't; I am new here. I was sorted into the house of Ravenclaw. What house are you in?"

"Gryffindor." I said to her. "Where did you transfer from?"

Edie hesitated. "I moved from a small school in Ireland. I heard so much about Dumbledore, I just thought that it was appropriate to come and see him for myself," she said carelessly. Edie narrowed her eyes. "Gryffindor? So I take it you are fond of Dumbledore?" she inquired, raising an eyebrow.

I smirked. "Of course, he's the best sorcerer ever."

Edie clenched her jaw. "If that is what you believe," she said slowly. "But I'm sure there is at least one other person who is far stronger and wiser than Dumbledore," she said coolly.

"Maybe Harry could be, but you never know, It could be someone else."
