First Class (5th Years)

I blushed. "I thought you would know. You're both in Slytherin." I said.

"Still you should have told me." I said to her smiling. "Well, I'm glad your happy. Maybe he can bring the real you out." I said to her.

"I know. Sorry Rae Rae." I said smiling and laughing.

I run into the classroom. "Sorry I'm late."

"No problem, Miss Lupin, just make sure it doesn't happen again. We're just doing a quick review of our disarming and shield charms. Find a partner." Ben looked around to see who was paired up with who. Truth be told...he'd lost track.

"I promise it won't happen again." I saw that Kendrix was the only one with out a partner. Great. "Looks like we are partners." I said to her.

"Just what I always wanted." I said sarcastically.

Trying to hide his face D'Leh walked into the first class. He knew it was that guy from the bar, Kanst's class. looking around he saw that he was teaching the class, "Just circle and leave" he said to him self. After circling he walked to the door trying to remain unseen.

Ben watched as the fifth years shot shot spells off. Occasionally one would shoot off in a wayward direction. He ducked as one particularly bad one, passed inches away from his face and hit the door frame. Ben saw a figure skulking outside. "Why don't you come in Mr. Strait?"

Edie walked in the room slowly. "Excuse me, Professor Kanst," she couldn't stop the smirk from appearing on her face when adressing him. "Am I in the right class?"

D'Leh stopped, "I um...I was just checking out the class." He laughed out of discomfort.

Ben took one look at Edie and attempted to stifle his laughter. "Yes, Miss Sedgwick, you sure are." He said, biting his lip. Ben took a few deep breaths. "Strait, we're just reviewing some basic spells. You're more than welcome to stay." He smirked.

"I'm sorry, but I can't...I um...I'm needed somewhere else." he stuttered. He knew he would be in trouble now.

Edie flared her nostrils at his amusement. "I wouldn't stay in this class," she said to the biy who walked in. "It seems there is a bunch of hot air floating in this room," she said, eyeing Ben in contempt. She clenched her fist and a flame appeared on Kanst's foot.

"Hey what the-?" Ben put the flame out with a flick of his wand. He didn't see where the flame had started but he had a pretty good idea. Ben turned his attention back to D'Leh. "Well you know where to find me then."

"Yeah." D'Leh hoped Ben wouldn't say anything, He knew that he didn't say where he was from, but he had a pretty good idea that Ben knew.

Ben walked over to D'Leh and turned his back to the students. He grabbed D'Leh's arm, pulling up his sleeve to reveal his Dark Mark tattoo. "You can't have both. Better decide which side you're on." He hissed in a low voice. Ben let go of his arm and stepped back. "I'll see you around." He said in his normal voice.

D'Leh pulled his arm away, "You have no right talking to me that way," He looked around the room, and then whispered, "You may be here on his orders, but you are enjoying it more that you think. And you are the one who will deny him before I do!" then he walked out.

Ben chuckled darkly to himself. "We'll see about that." He turned back to the class. "Moving on to something more exciting. Who can name me the three Unforgivable spells?"

Ravyn raised her hand, when she noticed no one else answering.

"Well come on then. What are they Miss Snape?" Ben questioned.

Ravyn put her hand down, "Cruciatus Curse, the Imperius Curse and the Killing Curse" she answered.

"Good job, 10 points to Slytherin." Ben ran his finger along his desk. "Now who has ever seen any of these?"

I raised my hand and winced a little. I can still remember getting punished with one when I spoke out of line with my step father.

Ravyn raised her hand again.
