"Because one, Dobby never claps when he wathces us and also I heard a foot tapping and Dobby doesn't wear shoes." I said laughing.

"Well, I don't know what that has to do with me, but I wasn't there." he said looking at her and then looking down with a smile on his face.

I leaned over and whispred in his ear. "That smile helps you none." I said then got up and did a little back flip.

Chad watched her, "I'm sure it doesn't. But I will never tell." he then laughed, "But you do have a pretty voice."

"Ah hah! You where there. I've only ever sang when I was at home or in the R.O.R. So you had to be there or else you wouldn't know what I sound like." I said smiling triumphantly.

He smiled, "So sue me I guess! But I will deny it to any who asks."

"Aww, why? Scared for people to know that you where spying on a Gryffindor and her friends?" I asked him.

"For all I care, the whole school can know I like a Gryffindor...." He stopped and became quiet.

I looked at him. "You...what?"

"What? I didn't say anything." he answered looking at the lake avoiding her eyes.

"Yes you did." I said to him. I sat down next to him and looked at the lake. "What is it with Slytherin and Gryffindor this year?" I asked him laughing.

Chad laughed, "That's a good question. I guess it's just a strange year."

"Must be." I said and smiled. "So, you like a Gryffindor? Interesting." I said smiling at him.

"Isn't that sweet." I said sarcastically. "It looks like you being a jerk is just an act. You actually are sweet. How sickening."

"I have no Idea where you got that from, but it's not true," he said denying it. Chad then heard Kendrix's voice and turned around, "It's not an act, unlike you, I have a heart! Just not as cold as yours"

"Oh yes, I have a very cold heart. Being nice makes me gag."

I looked at the both of them then sighed.

"That's not what I heard from your sister! She told me you get sappy!" he heard Athena sigh, "would you like to go for a walk?" he asked

"Yes." I said to him and got up.

"She lies. I do not get sappy."

"Who would I believe you or her?" He got up an grabbed Athena's hand and walked away from Kendrix.

"Jerk." I mumbled.

I blushed when he grabbed my hand but then quickly got rid of it. "Wow, that was different."
