Ravyn not being able to use magic out side of the school had to hang Christmas decorations by hand. She had a Christmas tree in the corner with presents. She was in the mood for Christmas music, so she went and got the remote ad switched on the music. The first song to come on was 'O Holy Night, by Josh Groban.' She smiled and started singing along with him. She was madly in love with his voice.



She shoved the remote in her pocket and climbed up the latter to put the Star on the tree. She hoped that tonight wouldn't be as slow as it had the last few nights. Stepping down to admire the tree she smiled and saw Joe come and stand next to her. "How does it look?"

Joe kissed her on the cheek, "Looks excellent."

Joe was a friend from France, His real name was Joesph and he was younger than he looked.he was in his twenties and had lost his family to the death eaters, She witnessed the whole thing. Amazingly Joe didn't blame her. "Thanks Joesph." She kissed him on the cheek and smiled, "So, how about a glass of eggnog to celebrate the holidays?" she smiled. Ravyn walked over to pour them both a glass just at the next song came on,



Joe ran over and grabbed her hand causing her to spill the drinks, "Just leave them and dance with me!"

Ravyn laughed and danced. "I wish George was here!" She laughed.

I walk into the bar. "Br, it's getting colder outside. The place looks nice, Ravyn."

Ravyn laughed as she backed away from Joe, "Thanks, I'm not done yet." She points to the tree, "You have a present under the tree."

I smiled. "I do. What is it?"

"That's something you will have to find out." She smiled.

"Aw come one, you can tell me. I'll still act surprised."

"I guess you can open it since I gave Kendrix her's early." Ravyn smiled.

"You gave Kendrix a present?" I said shocked. "That's so nice of you. You sure you don't mind me opening it early because I can wait."

"No go ahead." Ravyn sat down, "Yea, I gave her a picture."

I smiled as I ran and grabbed my present. Then I looked at Ravyn. "What was the picture of?"

"The two of us as babies." she looked down, "I don't think she liked it much."

"Well, you know Kendrix. She doesn't show her emotions." I opened my present and I smiled as I saw a leather bound book with my name in gold lettering. I opened and saw it was a journal. "I love it. Thanks."

Ravyn gave her a weak smile, "You're Welcome." She knew Kendrix had no emotion to very little, but she could at least show some, "I hate acting the way I do towards her. but she just makes me so mad!"

"This might be a stupid question, but have you talked to her about why she acts that way?"

Ravyn laughed, "No, she wont even let me talk to her with out her being cold."
